Practitioner Profile: Angelo D'Alberto

Angelo graduated from Middlesex University with a BSc (Hons) in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This 5-year degree course was the first collaborative professional programme in TCM to be validated in the UK and the curriculum was based on the format of training received at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.

The course included five months full time clinical practice in two of the largest hospitals in Beijing, China, with a Bachelor of Medicine qualification being awarded by the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.

The placement in China consisted of time spent covering a wide range of areas, such as cardiology, neurology, respiratory, gynaecology, dermatology, traumatology, and paediatrics.

Angelo is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) (www.acupuncture.org.uk) and of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM) (www.atcm.co.uk). All members are bound by a strict code of ethics of conduct and are legally insured.
