Cosmetic Acupuncture
Acupuncture points on the face have been used for many years to help combat signs of ageing and to help a variety of problems in this area. Acupuncture now has a relatively new role where it can be used by those seeking a more natural and less invasive alternative to Cosmetic Surgery.
Facial acupuncture points are stimulated using small, fine needles and supported with acupressure (gentle massage). Needles may also be used elsewhere on the body to balance your constitution and relieve other symptoms you may be experiencing.

Research has shown that acupuncture increases the flow of blood through the skin in the face, thereby hydrating, boosting the skin’s supply of nutrients and oxygen, and thus reducing the signs of ageing.
Why choose Cosmetic Acupuncture over Surgery?
Whilst not a replacement for surgery, acupuncture is an excellent alternative. It is far less expensive than cosmetic surgery and is safe, virtually painless, and has no side effects or risk of disfigurement. This is unlike surgery, which may have an extended recovery period with swelling and discoloration. There is no trauma from Cosmetic Acupuncture and if it does not suit you then you can stop with no ill effects.
How long is the course of treatment?
The course of the treatment is between 6-12 sessions. This will be done 1-3 times a week for best results. Each individual will respond differently to the treatment depending on their age, lifestyle, and what they want to achieve from the treatment. Visible results are usually noticeable after 6 -7 sessions. Maintenance maybe needed once every fortnight to a month. Treatment lasts for about 60 minutes.
There are many other conditions that acupuncture can help with and these can be addressed along with the cosmetic treatment wherever possible.
What is the cost?
1 treatment £60
6 treatments £330
10 treatments £540
A course of 6-10 treatments is always recommended for noticeable results.
